Right to private property and economic freedom

Private property is a direct extension of individual liberty and the fruit of one’s labor. The right to acquire, possess, develop, bequeath, and freely trade property, real estate, and capital is a fundamental and inviolable right upon which the liberty of the citizen rests.
No private property shall be expropriated, confiscated, or otherwise infringed upon by state institutions except with the owner’s consent and full compensation, in exceptional cases involving a clearly defined and limited public necessity, and only pursuant to an explicit law enacted by the Sanhedrin in accordance with this Bill.
Freedom of occupation, entrepreneurship, contract, and free trade, both within Yehodaya and internationally, shall not be restricted by government regulation that impairs competition or individual liberty.
