Yehodaya — יְהוֹדַיָה

YEHODAYA · יְהוֹדַיָה

Privacy Policy

Yehodaya respects the privacy of visitors to this website and seeks to collect and process only the personal information reasonably necessary for the purposes described below.

Information We Collect

Simply browsing the Yehodaya website does not require you to provide personal information.

At the time this Privacy Policy was published, website forms validate input in the browser and do not yet transmit submissions to a Yehodaya production backend. When that backend is connected, Yehodaya may receive personal information when you voluntarily submit it through a form on the website. Depending on the form, this may include:

  • your name;
  • your email address;
  • information you include in a message;
  • your request to receive Yehodaya news or updates; and
  • other information that you voluntarily provide through the form.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information unless it is genuinely necessary for the purpose of your communication.

How We Use Personal Information

When personal information is received through the website, it may be used to:

  • respond to questions, messages or requests;
  • manage participation or expressions of interest relating to Yehodaya;
  • send Yehodaya news and updates when you have requested or consented to receive them;
  • maintain records reasonably necessary for these purposes; and
  • protect the website and its services against misuse or security threats.

We do not sell personal information.

We do not use personal information submitted through this website for unrelated advertising or behavioral profiling.

Legal Basis for Processing

Where you contact Yehodaya or request that we respond to you, we process the information necessary to handle that communication and pursue the legitimate purpose for which you contacted us.

Where you explicitly subscribe to future Yehodaya emails or updates, that processing is based on your consent.

You may withdraw consent to receive such communications at any time, including through an unsubscribe mechanism provided in the email or by contacting us.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing that lawfully took place before consent was withdrawn.

ActiveTrail

Website forms on Yehodaya are Yehodaya’s own forms. ActiveTrail tracking scripts, widgets, embedded forms or marketing cookies are not loaded on this website.

Yehodaya intends to use ActiveTrail as a service provider for managing relevant contact information and email communications. When a production server-side/API integration is enabled, information you provide through a relevant website form may be transferred through that Yehodaya-operated integration to ActiveTrail for processing on Yehodaya’s behalf.

At present, that server-side ActiveTrail integration is not connected in production, and form submissions are not transmitted to ActiveTrail or retained in a Yehodaya production backend. When the integration is enabled, this Privacy Policy will be updated if the description of processing needs to change.

When used, ActiveTrail would act as a service provider/data processor in relation to information processed on Yehodaya’s instructions.

ActiveTrail is operated by ActiveTrail Ltd. in Israel.

The European Commission currently recognizes Israel as providing an adequate level of protection for personal data for the purposes of transfers under EU data-protection law.

Cookies and Tracking

Yehodaya does not currently use cookies.

The website does not currently use:

  • analytics cookies;
  • advertising cookies;
  • tracking pixels;
  • behavioral advertising technology; or
  • third-party visitor profiling.

Accordingly, the website does not display a cookie-consent banner.

If this changes in the future, this Privacy Policy and, where legally required, the website’s consent mechanisms will be updated before such technology is used.

Language Preference

The website may store your selected Hebrew or English language preference using your browser’s local storage.

This preference is stored locally on your device so that the website can remember your language selection.

It is not sent to Yehodaya merely by being stored, and it is not used for advertising, analytics or tracking.

Server and Technical Information

Like normal internet infrastructure, the website’s hosting and security systems may necessarily process limited technical information required to deliver and protect the website, such as network requests, IP addresses, timestamps and security-related data.

Such technical processing is used for operation, security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting rather than advertising or visitor profiling.

How Long We Keep Personal Information

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including managing communications, participation and mailing subscriptions, and where necessary to meet applicable legal or security requirements.

Mailing-list information may be retained while you remain subscribed.

If you unsubscribe, we may retain the minimum information necessary to record and respect your opt-out request.

Sharing of Personal Information

We may share personal information with service providers where reasonably necessary to operate the website, manage communications or provide the service you requested.

Such providers are permitted to process information only for the relevant service and subject to applicable data-protection requirements.

We may also disclose information where required by applicable law or where reasonably necessary to protect legal rights, security or the integrity of the website.

We do not sell visitor data.

Your Rights

Depending on applicable data-protection law, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including the right to:

  • request access to your personal information;
  • request correction of inaccurate information;
  • request deletion of information in applicable circumstances;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • object to certain processing;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
  • receive information about how your personal data is processed.

You may exercise these rights by contacting Yehodaya at:

[email protected]

You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.

No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

External Links

The website may contain links to websites operated by third parties.

Yehodaya is not responsible for the privacy practices of those external websites. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

Children

The website is intended as a general public information website and is not specifically designed to collect personal information from children.

If we become aware that personal information relating to a child has been submitted in circumstances requiring deletion or other action under applicable law, we will take appropriate steps.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if the website, its services or applicable privacy requirements change.

The current version published on this website will apply.
